German Chancellor Angela Merkel said that terrorists try to force the country to refuse accepting the refugees, Gazeta reported quoting Reuters.

At the same time, she added that the government would not abandon the decision to provide assistance despite a series of terrorist attacks in Germany in recent years.

Merkel stated that terrorists want them to abandon what they consider important, to break their unity and sense of community.
