YEREVAN. – Official Yerevan adheres to the position that Turkey has to be kept away from the process of Karabakh settlement, spokesperson for the Armenian Foreign Ministry said.

“Armenia still thinks that Turkey should be kept as far as possible from the Karabakh settlement process,” spokesperson for Armenian MFA Tigran Balayan told Armenian News-NEWS.am correspondent when asked to comment on Russian Foreign Minister’s remarks.

Earlier today Sergey Lavrov said Turkey can play a positive role in ensuring “unblocking of Nagorno-Karabakh and Armenia, as well as normal interaction in the region: economic, logistic, transport and infrastructure”.
