There have been killed more than 20 people in last three days in Chikapa, the central part of the Democratic Republic of Congo, during clashes between soldiers and rebels. As RIA Novosti reports, the fights took place form Friday to Sunday.
More than 700 people were killed in Congo in attacks in the last two years. According to the army, the attacks were implemented by ADF revolts. Hundreds of people went to the streets on August 17 to protest the inaction of the authorities. The police used tear gas against protesters and fired warning shots.
