YEREVAN. - Defense Minister of Armenia Vigen Sargsyan on Tuesday received the commanders of the volunteer detachments, who took part in the April military actions. He highly appreciated the input of volunteers and their selflessness manifested both during the Artsakh Liberation War and the April military actions.  

At the meeting the Defense Minister touched on the idea of nation-army, stressing that it’s quite logical that exactly the volunteers are the first to assess it positively. The Minister also referred to the reforms carried out in the field of military education, as well as the need for introducing new technologies in the modernization of military equipment and industry.

By the end of the meeting, Vigen Sargsyan responded to the volunteers’ questions.
