YEREVAN. - The discussion on the assessed decrees and action plan for the year 2016, as well as reports on priority issues was launched in the Armenian Government on Monday.

Ministers of the Energy Infrastructures and Natural Resources, Labor and Social Affairs and Defense, as well as the Chairman of State Committee of Water Economy reported on the work carried out in 2016 as well as the results thereof.

The members of the Armenian Government referred to the actions carried out in the reporting period and reported to PM Karapetyan on the reasons behind the recorded shortcomings.

The Premier gave relevant instructions for removing the existing shortcomings.

After listening to the reports, Karapetyan attached importance to the continuation of optimalization in agencies, efficient use of funds, etc.

“Enormous amounts of money pass through your agencies. We must finally understand whether we spend money correctly or not,” he said.
