Today on February 13 the Court of Appeals rejected the claim of the “lone wolf” Arayik Khandoyan’s attorneys against the extension of his detention.

The attorneys will appeal against the decision in the Court of Cassation. On January 27, Arabkir and Kanaker-Zeytun administrative districts’ First Instance Court satisfied the motion of the preliminary investigation agency and extended Khandoyan’s detention.

Arayik Khandoyan is charged under the article 218 paragraph 3 point 1 (abduction) and paragraph 3 of article 235 of the RA Criminal Code (illegal purchasing, selling, storing, transporting of weapons and ammunition).
