The German government has adopted a package of measures, which improves the process of faster deportation of refugees, who have not been granted an asylum. According to the German Interior Minister Thomas de Maiziere, the Bundestag will soon approve the bill, reports DW.

Maiziere once again stressed, that Germany's immigration policy is twofold – it aims to quickly integrate all those who are entitled to stay in the country and deport those who have not been granted this right.

Previously, the bill allowed to detain refugees for up to 4 days before making them leave the country. The current bill extended that period for up to 10 days, also allowed to use "electronic chains" for the refugees who undergo trials for deportation, to control their movement. It is also allowed to examine cell phones of the refugees and check their personal data.
