YEREVAN. - Yelk (“Way out”) alliance may become a single political opposition force.
Representative of the alliance, Nikol Pashinyan, who is also the MP of the Armenian National Congress (ANC) Party, said the aforementioned during a Facebook press-conference on Friday.
“While carrying out combined political activity, we will launch talks on becoming a single political force. I hope that these talks will yield a result. Armenia must form a large opposition, which will be able to solve serious issues,” he said.
Apart from this, Pashinyan noted that Yelk alliance has one official position on the Karabakh conflict settlement: as long as Azerbaijan hasn’t recognized the independence of Nagorno-Karabakh and the self-determination of Artsakh, mutual concessions are out of the question.
