YEREVAN. – The National Assembly of Armenia on Wednesday ratified the agreement on the Asian Development Bank loan for the repair of the highway that leads to the Georgian border.

The document was approved by a vote of 62 for, 17, against, and 10 abstentions, informed the Armenian News-NEWS.am reporter.  

The $50mn loan will be used for repairing the 51.1km section (Vanadzor-Georgian border) of Highway M6. In addition, several tunnels along this road will be expanded. This motorway is a main road that runs between Armenia and Georgia.
