The objectives, which were set before the government of Armenia for half a year, have been fulfilled, Prime Minister Karen Karapetyan on Saturday told voters in Ijevan town.

He added that the ruling Republican Party of Armenia (RPA) has clearly defined its approach with respect to the resolution of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict, and protection of the borders.

The PM also noted that the core of the RPA platform is the investment program, which launches in the current year; this program comprises investments in Armenia’s economy. In Karapetyan’s words, however, even though the respective sources are yet unknown, the programs are clear.

At the same time, the Premier stressed that all the objectives that were determined for half a year were fulfilled, and that the corresponding government report will be submitted at the end of the month.

As per Karapetyan, Armenia is standing on the road toward a revenue growth, for the first time.

The PM also noted that the RPA is planning on carrying out numerous reforms.

“But we [i.e. Armenia] must do it ourselves,” he added.

At the end of the talk, Karen Karapetyan wished optimism to the voters.
