Nikol Pashinyan, who is third on Yelk (Way Out) Bloc’s proportional representation list for Sunday’s parliamentary election, on Monday told the above-said during an election campaign assembly with voters in Masis town.
In response to a Masis resident’s remark that the ruling Republican Party of Armenia has considerable resources in connection with the forthcoming election, Pashinyan responded: “The [ruling] regime is in panic. I’m convinced that a very large number of police, National Security Service, and army servicemen will vote for us.”
The top three names on the aforesaid Yelk list are Bright Armenia Party Chairman and MP Edmon Marukyan, Republic Party Chairman and former PM Aram Sargsyan, and Civil Contract Party Chairman and MP Nikol Pashinyan, respectively.
