YEREVAN. – The Ministry Emergency Situations (MES) of Armenia received information, on Wednesday at 3:30am.

Accordingly, the MES “Survey for Seismic Protection” Agency had recorded a magnitude-4.3 earthquake, at 3:16am local time.

The epicenter of this tremor was in Azerbaijan, 15 km northwest of Masallı town.

The hypocenter of the quake was 20 km beneath the surface.

The seismic activity measured magnitude 5-6, at the epicenter.

The earthquake was felt also in the Republic of Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabakh Republic/NKR). It measured magnitude 3 in capital city Stepanakert and in Hadrut town.
