Armenian-American trade and economic relations are at a very low level today, during the ups and downs within the past seven years.

Ambassador of Armenia to the US, Grigor Hovhannissian, noted about the above-said at a briefing with the Armenian community in New York, and entitled “US-Armenia Bilateral Relations: Progress and Outlook,” reported Voice of America Armenian Service. 

But he added that although American investments in Armenia had dropped to almost zero in 2014, there was a considerable increase in the last two years.

Also, Hovhannissian said if Armenia were to create favorable conditions, investments to the country will gradually grow.
