YEREVAN. – The Ministry of Emergency Situations of Armenia received a report, on Sunday at 8:26pm.

Accordingly, a car had fallen into Garni Canyon in Kotayk Province, there were affected people, and rescuers were needed.

Two rescue squads were dispatched to the scene.

It was found out that the said vehicle had gone off road and rolled around 600 meters into the adjacent gorge.

Prior to the rescuers’ arrival, N. H., 21, was hospitalized.

Rescuers carried Levon H., 22, and Roman H., 32—who were about 200 meters from the car—to the waiting ambulances, and they were hospitalized. Doctors say they are in moderate condition.

Also, rescuers carried the dead bodies of Arshak K., 30, and Gevorg M., 19—who were about 270 meters from the automobile—to the waiting ambulances.

According to shamshyan.com, the dead and the injured were neighbors, they lived in Jrvezh village in Kotayk Province, and they had come to spend their summer holidays.
