Ukraine's Interior Ministry described the car blast in Kiev as a terrorist attack, as a result of which an acting soldier of the Armed Forces of Ukraine born in 1978 was killed, said Artem Shevchenko, communications director for Ukraine's Interior Ministry.

According to him, an explosive device was detonated.

Shevchenko noted that everything suggests that this was planned terrorist act, adding that one more person was injured, nothing threatens his life, 112.ua reported.
