YEREVAN. – Didn’t you hear it?  

The President of Armenia, Serzh Sargsyan, stated the abovementioned in response to reporters’ query on the chances of his becoming Prime Minister in 2018. 

While coming out of government building, the President answered the journalists’ question as to whether he will head the executive branch of power in the country, after putting down his presidential powers in April of the coming year. 

“Didn’t you hear [it]?” he noted. “I was speaking upstairs.” 

As reported earlier, President Serzh Sargsyan also was in attendance to Thursday’s Cabinet meeting of the government. In his remarks at the session, he noted that Prime Minister Karen Karapetyan enjoyed the full confidence of the ruling political team in Armenia.
