YEREVAN. – The European Union is expecting not promises, but precise steps from Armenia, Polish Ambassador to Armenia Jerzy Marek Nowakowski said during a NATO conference in Yerevan.

The EU doors are absolutely open for Armenia, and the Brussels is expecting the signing of a document, the Ambassador said referring to the words of the head of EU delegation in Armenia Piotr Switalski.

Asked what would happen unless the document is signed, the diplomat said they would continue dialogue with Armenia, but stressed there are different types of dialogue – friendly dialogue, common dialogue, chilly dialogue, and finally dialogue of arms.

The EU very much hopes for European-Armenian dialogue, Nowakowski said, adding that it depends on both sides, including precise implementation of the agreements.
