YEREVAN. – A mother was killed and her daughter injured in a tragic car accident in Armenia's capital city.

Ford hit two pedestrians in the crosswalk on Friday morning near school on Bagratunyats street, Yerevan.

According to Shamshyan.com, mother was killed at the scene. Ten-year-old girl is hospitalized. Police are establishing the identity of the dead and injured.

The driver did not hide from the scene and waited for the police.
