Kremlin watches closely the progress of Turkey's operation in Syrian Afrin, Russian representatives are in contact with both Damascus and Ankara, Russian presidential press secretary Dmitry Peskov said on Monday.
In response to a question about how the Kremlin assesses Turkey's operation in Syrian Afrin, Peskov said that they are closely monitoring the progress of the operation. According to him, they believe that the principle of preserving the territorial integrity of Syria is fundamental, RIA Novosti reports.
