English artist, Banksy, unveiled a 20m high artwork in New York’s historic Bowery Wall calling for release of imprisoned Kurdish painter from Turkey, Zehra Dogan, BBC reported.

According to the source, Dogan was reportedly imprisoned last year for her painting of the Kurdish town Nusaybin, which was destroyed by Turkish authorities.

Banksy depicted Dogan behind bars, while the last bar was the pencil.
