Naira Zohrabyan, the Head of the Committee for European Integration, Parliament of Armenia and member of the Armenian delegation to the CE Parliamentary Assembly, distributed copies of a message by Armenians that  had resided in Azerbaijan. among all the members of the Azerbaijani delegation. In their message the authors protest against the practice of bringing foreign diplomats to the Shahid Alley in Baku during official visits they pay to Azerbaijan. "This morning, I personally gave copies of the message to each member of the Azeri delegation," Zohrabyan told Armenian News-NEWS.am.

The message says that the notorious Shahid Alley is the burial place of the people who murdered and raped Armenians during the Armenian pogroms in Baku, in January 1990. They were killed during clashes with the Soviet troops that had entered the city to put an end to the massacre. "At that time the leaders of the countries strongly condemned the pogroms in Baku. Now, however, representatives of the same countries visit the murderers` burial places, which is unacceptable," Zohrabyan said. She also gave a copy of the message to the Turkish representative.
