According to the data for the first half of 2018, about 50 percent of Armenia’s industrial products are exported.

Artsvik Minasyan, the Minister of Economic Development and Investments, noted the above-said at Monday’s press conference to sum up the results of the first 100 days of his tenure in this capacity.

In his words, this means that the country’s industrial indicators show a trend of export policy.

“[But] this percentage would have been greater if we hadn’t had a drop in terms of mining industry,” Minasyan added, “and this makes up about 11.8 percent.”

The minister stated that Armenia exports about 60 percent of its beverage production, 72 percent of cigarette production, 75 percent of clothing production, and about 56 percent of pharmaceutical products.

Artsvik Minasyan informed that Armenia’s main exported goods include fresh fruits, vegetables, fish, flowers, and meat.
