The only thing that Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan succeeded in doing during this time is fighting against the Republican Party of Armenia (RPA).

Former ruling RPA MP Armen Ashotyan on Tuesday told the aforementioned to reporters in parliament. He noted this commenting on Pashinyan’s recent statement that even though some political forces present themselves as defenders of the revolution in Armenia, they secretly negotiate with the RPA.

“I believe the country’s society has bigger expectations from Nikol Pashinyan than an eternal fight against the previous authorities,” Ashotyan said, in particular.

In addition, as per the MP, Nikol Pashinyan is “sacrificing” his current allies. In Ashotyan’s conviction, Pashinyan is ready to do everything to secure for his capital city Yerevan mayoral candidate the maximum number of votes that will give him additional support to hold a snap parliamentary election.

“If there are former RPA members supporting any political force at this time, then I believe they are at the headquarters of the [PM Pashinyan-supported] My Step bloc itself at the most and are engaged in their work,” Armen Ashotyan stressed, in particular.
