The US President Donald Trump expressed support on Wednesday for a two-state solution to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict,  CNN reported.

"I like two-state solution" Trump said adding: ”That's what I think works best. I don't even have to speak to anybody, that's my feeling.”

At a meeting with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu within UN General Assembly in New York, Trump also said that he wants to make his peace plan public in the next two to three months.

"I really believe something will happen. They say it's the toughest of deals. It is a dream of mine to be able to get that done prior to the end of my first term,” the President added.
