YEREVAN. – Armenia’s Foreign Minister Zohrab Mnatsakanyan on Wednesday met with Indian External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj, on the sidelines of the 73rd Session of the UN General Assembly in New York.

The interlocutors shared the view that Armenian-Indian relations have great potential to implement more ambitious projects and to move their cooperation toward a more practical arena, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Armenia informed Armenian News-NEWS.am.

FM Mnatsakanyan stressed the Armenian government’s commitment to keep up the reform process, and he thanked his Indian colleague for her government’s continued assistance to IT development programs in Armenia.

Also, the interlocutors highlighted their stable cooperation within international organizations and mutual support on international platforms.

The Armenian and Indian FMs exchanged views also on several regional challenges and on the positions on the avenues for addressing them. In this context, they agreed that there is no alternative to solely pacific negotiating resolution of conflicts.
