The EU urged Belgrade and Pristina to restrain amid escalation in Kosovo, said EU foreign policy service representative, TASS reported.

According to the statement, the EU expects all participants to act calmly.

As reported earlier, Serbia's President Aleksandar Vucic has ordered the country's armed forces to be on the highest combat readiness as some troops took positions near the dam on Gazivoda Lake, which hosts hydroelectric power station.
