YEREVAN. – As diplomats, we are always supporting the meeting between the leaders, US State Department official said when asked by reporters in Yerevan whether a meeting between President Trump and Armenian PM Nikol Pashnyan is expected.
“As diplomats, we are always supporting the meetings between leaders. I am sure there will be a meeting but I cannot tell when and where,” said George Kent, Deputy Assistant Secretary in the European and Eurasian Bureau.
He expressed a view that this topic will be included in the agenda of talks between Nikol Pashinyan and national security adviser John Bolton who is due to visit Yerevan.
