I believe the grand pre-election debate should be specified in the new Electoral Code [of Armenia], as a mandatory stipulation at the level of the first figures of the forces running in elections.
The Acting Prime Minister of Armenia, Nikol Pashinyan, wrote the aforementioned on Facebook.
“Yesterday’s debate certainly was a success,” Pashinyan also wrote. “This is New Armenia. With courage.”
A nearly 3.5-hour live televised debate was held Wednesday evening between the persons heading the electoral lists of the eleven political forces that will be running in Sunday’s snap parliamentary election in Armenia.
