Armenia and Georgia are bound by century-old friendly and fraternal relations, stated Armenian President Armen Sarkissian, who is in Tbilisi to take part in the inauguration ceremony of the newly elected Georgian President Salome Zurabishvili.

According to Sarkissian, it’s more than natural that the Armenian President should be present here today.

“Congratulations to Georgia, President of the country. I wish success to the newly elected president. I hope to work together with the President, the government and the Parliament of Georgia, and most importantly with the Georgian people, to further strengthen relations. ”
