Iranian President Hassan Rouhani in a message on Monday congratulated Christians residing in the Islamic Republic of Iran and expressed the hope to witness promotion of peace, justice and uprooting bad temper and discrimination for people from all walks of life, IRNA reported.
The message reads that the birthday of Jesus Christ (AS) for all nations bears the message of spirituality, peace and friendship, he said.
President Rouhani expressed the hope that in the new year all would witness promotion of peace, justice and eradication of any wrong-doing and discrimination among world nations.
