On March 12, Co-ordination Council of Armenian Organizations of France (CCAF) will organize a protest action in front of the French Senate, Nouvelles d `Arménie reports.
Demonstrators will demand to pass a law on criminalization of denial of the Armenian Genocide, perpetrated in 1915 under the Ottoman Empire.
Five years ago the French lower house of parliament passed a bill making it a crime to deny that Armenians suffered genocide at the hands of Ottoman Turks. Famous French singer of Armenian origin Charles Aznavour will also attend the demonstration.
