The candidacy of the Turkish parliament ex-deputy of the Armenian origin, Selina Dogan was nominated for the post of a member of the Council of Elders in the Istanbul district of Sisli.

Selina Dogan announced on Facebook that she had decided to participate in local government elections as a candidate for the post of a member of the Council of Elders.

Selina Dogan twice became a member of the Turkish parliament from the opposition Republican People’s Party (CHP).
