Armenia submitted a week ago a roadmap on 13 concrete projects, and we agree that the priority should be on economic development that means to support business sector, EU Commissioner Johannes Hahn said.

The EU has already provided an opportunity for the local banks to provide loans to small and medium enterprises or micro companies in local currency.

“Economy needs functioning infrastructure that’s why connectivity is on top of our agenda, which means to invest in roads and railways,” Hahn said.

EU Commissioner underscored importance of transit of energy and also functioning of electricity grid, adding that necessary conditions should be provided not in Yerevan only, but other parts of the country.
