YEREVAN. – The National Assembly (NA) of Armenia on Tuesday continues its special session, whose initiator is the government.

In particular, the bill on amendments to Tax Code, and which stipulates that compressed natural gas (CNG) at the country’s CNG filling stations shall be sold in kilograms instead of volume, is on the agenda of this special sitting. 

An amendment to the law on holidays and memorial days, and whereby the last Saturday of April shall be marked in Armenia as “Citizen’s Day,” is also on the agenda.

The package on making an amendment to the law on amendments and addenda to the law on the protection of economic competition, and which refers to the timeframe for forming the composition of those two NA committees, is also on the agenda of this special session.

All bills were passed Monday in the first reading, and their debates in the second reading are held Tuesday.
