The Ministry of Emergency Situations of Armenia recommends introducing civil defense as a subject in Armenia’s school curriculum. This is what Minister of Emergency Situations Felix Tsolakyan reported during a press conference.

According to him, the poor situation over the organizing of civil defense at facilities gave him something to think about.

“There are plans to carry out rescue efforts, but in practice, it’s not always that it complies with the theory. The Ministry of Education and Science has accepted the offer of the Ministry of Emergency Situations to include civil defense as a subject in the school curriculum,” the minister emphasized and recommended that the subject be taught by expert rescuers, including the veterans of the Ministry of Emergency Situations.
