Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Armenia, Artak Davtyan, on Monday paid a working visit to the military units and military bases at the northeastern border area.

Davtyan was briefed on the present-day situation at the border, the level of readiness by the military personnel, the conditions of combat duty, the engineering and fortification work that was carried out on the frontline, and the tasks assigned to the military divisions.

At a military base, the Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Armenia ate with the servicemen carrying out combat duty there, and checked the quality of food being served to them.

Also, he encouraged the servicemen who were the most prominent during their combat duty.

Subsequently, Artak Davtyan gave instructions to the commanders of the units in charge, on the matters that require priority resolutions.
