STEPANAKERT. – Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan voiced a number of key goals that Armenia has to achieve by 2050.

Speaking during the rally in Stepanakert, Pashinyan outlined the key goals, among them increasing population to five million people.

“To create one and a half million jobs, to solve the problem of employment for 2.5 million people and eliminate unemployment. Let’s turn Armenia into an industrial country, increase GDP 15 times, create at least five Armenian technology companies worth more than $10 billion and having ten thousand employees,” he said.

PM underlined importance of having startups and increasing average wages seven times.

“We have to enter top ten in terms of indicators of combat readiness of our army, to have one of the ten most effective intelligence services in the world, to ensure 100% access to healthcare, to increase healthcare funding 20 times, to make education a national way of living, to increase education and science funding 20 times, to increase the number of tourists visiting Armenia to 15 million.  We have to make our football team win medals of European and world championships, we have to win 25 Olympic medals and the title of world chess champion,” Pashinyan said.
