YEREVAN. – The Investigative Committee of Armenia has completed its investigation of the criminal case into the theft of $1 million, and criminal charges have been brought against a 54-year-old Swedish and Liberian citizen. Press service of the Investigative Committee informed this to Armenian News-NEWS.am.

According to the information obtained, reaching prior agreement with two other people—one of whom is also a Liberian national, this Swedish and Liberian citizen secretly stole $1 million belonging to an Armenian citizen, on December 2, 2009.

Combined with the evidence obtained, criminal charges have been brought against this Swedish and Liberian national.

He has been remanded in custody.

The criminal case has been sent to the prosecutor.
