Secretary of Armenia’s Security Council Armen Grigoryan has no comment on the Prime Minister’s statement on “foreign forces”.

In his speech in Stepanakert (capital of Nagorno-Karabakh Republic) on Monday, Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan mentioned the strengthening of the sovereignty of the people as one of the six points required for consensus.

“The Armenian people and their legitimate representative, that is, the Government of Armenia, must and will give the coarsest counterinfluence to all forces that try to engage foreign forces in the solution to issues related to Armenians and Armenia and represent the interests of a foreign country,” Pashinyan said.

When asked what forces Nikol Pashinyan was referring to, the Secretary of the Security Council said Pashinyan was referring to the forces that are trying to have an impact on the processes unfolding in the country. “The Prime Minister would have gone into more detail, if it was necessary,” Grigoryan said.
