YEREVAN. – I’m confident that the just resolution of the Karabakh conflict depends on you, honorable ambassadors and consuls. Arman Abovyan, secretary of the opposition Prosperous Armenia faction in the National Assembly (NA), on Thursday stated this during the meeting—at the NA—with participants of the annual conference of the heads of the General Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the heads of the country’s diplomatic missions abroad.

He stressed that amid information wars, providing balanced and accurate information to foreign countries is extremely important.

“Today Armenia is waging a fierce information war with Azerbaijan and Turkey,” Abovyan said. “We have repeatedly stressed that major disinformation is being disseminated abroad. The most important thing is that the vision we have, the just position we have be accessible to all our foreign partners.”
