Samvel Karapetyan, the owner of the Tashir group of companies, and Kamo Avagumyan, chair of the Avilon board of directors, founded the Association of Armenian Entrepreneurs.

Samvel Karapetyan became the president of the organization, and Avagumyan is a vice president.

President of Fora Bank controlled by Karapetyan, Hayk Ignatyan, founder of Comedy Club Artur Janibekyan, first vice president of Tashir Varuzhan Artenyan, co-owner of wine importer Luding Armen Shahazizyan and others are members of the association.
