I don’t think the dismissal of the US President’s National Security Advisor John Bolton will have an impact on Armenia. This is what political scientist Suren Sargsyan stated during a press conference today, touching upon Trump’s decision to dismiss Bolton.

“For the most part, Bolton had come to Armenia to explore the country. The US government won’t change its policy on Armenia and the region. The US will have a little milder policy on Iran, if it starts talks with the country. Of course, this will help Armenia a lot because Armenia can have deeper relations with Iran, if there are no more sanctions on the latter. The same goes for Russia,” Suren Sargsyan declared.
