YEREVAN. – The views of Armenia and Artsakh on the conflict settlement coincide, spokesman for the Artsakh Republic president Davit Babayan told reporters in Yerevan.

“We think that the solution to the conflict first of all should ensure our security, and secondly, there will be no temptation for anyone to reconsider that solution,” Babayan said.

He welcomed the efforts of the Armenian authorities to bring Artsakh back to the negotiating table.

“We have welcomed it from the beginning, but we have noted that this is a very complicated, long, time-consuming process, and Azerbaijan is doing its best to hinder it,” he added.

As for the claim that Artsakh was left out of the negotiating table during the former authorities, Babayan noted: “Artsakh has left the negotiation process as a result of Aliyev's policy and Azerbaijan's policy. If Azerbaijan does not want to hold talks with us, it is their decision, but there will be no resolution with talks”.
