The UK Justice Department will urgently consider the conditions under which terrorists are released from prisons, BBC News reported.

At least 70 people convicted of terrorist crimes will appear in the focus of government attention.

Earlier, the UK Prime Minister, Boris Johnson, said that people convicted of terrorism should serve their entire term of imprisonment, and the system of early release for such people does not work.

The decision to consider the conditions under which terrorists were prematurely released from prisons was made after a knife attack on the London Bridge, which killed two people and injured three. Usman Khan, 28, who attacked passers-by, was previously convicted of terrorist crimes, but was released ahead of schedule.
