His Holiness Karekin II, Supreme Patriarch and Catholicos of All Armenians today received Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Lithuania to Armenia Inga Stanytė-Toločkienė at the Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin.

The Supreme Patriarch touched upon the diplomatic ties and close partnership between Armenia and Lithuania and talked about the Armenian community of Lithuania.

During the conversation, His Holiness recalled the support that the Lithuanians showed to the Armenians when the battle for the liberation of Artsakh had begun.

Ambassador Inga Stanytė-Toločkienė also touched upon the bilateral ties and the efforts being made to expand those relations and attached importance to the exchange of experience between the two countries.

The relations of the Armenian Holy Apostolic Church with the Sister Churches were also discussed during the meeting.
