Tehran is open for dialogue with neighboring states for the sake of restoring security and stability in the region, Tasnim reported referring to Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif on Thursday.

"We announce our readiness to participate in any complementary work that is in the interest of the region," he said. "We welcome any step that restores hope to its people and brings them stability and prosperity."

Iranian Presidential Chief of Stuff Mahmoud Vaezi noted Wednesday that there are differences between Tehran’s relations with Washington and Riyadh. According to an Iran's official, resolving conflicts with Saudi Arabia will benefit the entire Middle East.
