The coronavirus has already caused quite a lot of damage to Armenia's economy. Businessman Vahram Mirakyan wrote this on Facebook.

"But in the coming days, Armenia’s economy could get the hardest blow," he added, in particular. “Many Armenian companies and individuals buy fruit and vegetables from Iran, clear them from customs in Armenia, and sell the product on the Russian market.

[But] now Georgia does not allow Iranian goods to transit through their territory.

As a result, at this moment, according to the information I have received, about 60 trailer trucks (...) have remained in Armenia, are unable to pass through Georgia; entry is forbidden.

Now the worst part: There are rumors that Georgia wants to completely ban the entry or exit of any truck coming into, or going out of Armenia."
