Observation posts of the Turkish armed forces in the Idlib de-escalation zone in Syria were located in the fortified areas of terrorist groups and actually fused with them, TASS reported referring to Russian defense ministry representative Igor Konashenkov.

According to the Sochi agreements of September 2018, Turkey made a commitment to oust the terrorists with their heavy artillery from the borders of the Idlib zone by 15-20 km, he said.

And the fortified areas of the terrorists merged with the Turkish observation posts deployed by agreement, Konashenkov added.
