Baku City executive authority responded to an appeal by activist and blogger Bakhtiyar Hajiyev, submitted on behalf of an initiative group of candidates for MPs in connection with the picket.
According to Azerbaijani media, the response indicates the intention to hold a picket on March 5 at 10am in front of the Constitutional Court does not meet the requirements of the Law on Freedom of Assembly.
The CEC revealed violations of the will of voters and the requirements of the Electoral Code at some polling stations during the election, conducted an investigation, and the results were canceled in these polling stations, the response said.
