YEREVAN. – Not the coronavirus, but the plastic bags pose a threat to both Armenia and the whole world. Ambassador Andrea Wiktorin, Head the European Union (EU) Delegation to Armenia, said this at the presentation of the results of the pilot grant schemes for regional development.
She added that, therefore, they consider it important that the Government of Armenia has decided to switch to multi-use biodegradable bags.
In addition, according to her, the activities of the solid waste recycling startup plant in Kapan, as well as the desire to make maximum use of green technologies in many areas are also important.
